EarthKind Blog

Let’s face it -- as much as we love nature -- no one wants a mouse in their house. The same thing goes for armies of ants, moths that make their way into your wardrobe and spiders who seem to magically appear just about everywhere. Follow our EarthKind blog for the latest information on natural alternatives that will help you keep your home pest and poison free.

I was recently selected as a semi-finalist in the fifth annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneurial Winning Women Program.

I couldn’t be more excited, because E&Y is a national competition and executive leadership program that identifies a select group of high-potential women entrepreneurs, whose businesses show real potential to scale up — and then helps them do it.

One thing I’ve learned in my 40+ years of life, and in 20+ years of business, is that no man is an island. It takes a big enough dream, and vision, to have the power to move the hearts of others to join in your cause. I’m so honored to be named as this year's “Bell Banner Award’ recipient from the University of Mary. This is a very special award, given each year to a recipient who best exemplifies the Benedictine values in their lives and workplace as a servant leader, and graduate of the University of Mary.

For those of you who know me, you know that my life is not about what I can get, but rather about what I can give. I’ve always found that my needs are met when I do this, and it keeps my focus on the things that make me feel the happiest – like helping people relocate rodents OUT of their homes and property; safely, easily, affordably.

For those of you who don’t know me, it’s my sincerest wish that I can make a positive impact on the environment by proving that nature can do it better when it comes to solving natural problems. Secondly, it’s to do this in a way that is kind to everyone along the way, yet still offers our customers more value than they pay for. The last part is where the education and moral courage I learned at the University of Mary are hard at work.
