Mice and rats commonly seek protective shelter in homes, attics, basements, garages, barns, outbuildings, cabins, automobiles, boats and recreational vehicles. They are also active in commercial buildings, especially restaurants and storage facilities.
Rodents self-regulate their population, however, with access to shelter, food and water they can quickly multiply.
