HER Magazine Talks to Kari Warberg Block About Pest Control and Capitol Hill

You might not expect the founder of a business that has made millions of dollars by getting rid of mice to be a woman. Nor would you expect the manufacturer of pest control products to be involved in politics, but that’s precisely what Kari Warberg Block has done.

After disrupting the pest control industry by taking a proactive, preventative approach vs. the traditional reaction to pests with traps and poisons, HER Magazine aptly reports that Block is, “killing it with her no kill philosophy.” She didn’t stop there though. Block has progressed to mentoring up and coming entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses, serving on the National Women’s Business Council and helping to shape policy that will help others succeed.
