EarthKind® Announces John Foster as the company’s new Director of the Commercial Division

John Foster, EarthKind’s new Director of the Commercial Division

BISMARCK, N.D. (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 26, 2019

This new appointment allows EarthKind® to further its mission of protecting families at home and in the workplace.

EarthKind®, makers of award-winning, plant-based pest prevention pouches, continues to lead the way in innovative pest prevention protocol as it expands into commercial property protection.

John Foster’s impressive track record in the organic industry is exactly what EarthKind® was looking for to lead this new division. His vast knowledge on complex organic standards and regulations, coupled with his first-hand experience with supply chain compliance issues, allowed him to adeptly hit the ground running at EarthKind®.

“Finding someone that both fits our company culture, and has a stellar track record of mission-driven leadership, was not an easy task,” comments Kari Warberg Block, founder and CEO EarthKind®. “John’s experience and his professional philosophy checked all the boxes for us, and we are delighted to have him join the EarthKind family.”

“It seemed like a natural progression from my time at Earthbound Farms to be joining a group like EarthKind®, which has its roots firmly planted in natural solutions that not only solve a problem, but support American farmers and bring about positive change through creative innovation,” Foster remarks.

“Working with forward-thinking, passionate, innovative people like John is a real joy for a CEO,” says Warberg Block. “It’s essential in an organization to have people that can provide crucial expertise and help us navigate a new category as we scale our business.”

EarthKind® has been changing the nature of pest control by leveraging the power of nature’s bio-pesticides to rival conventional agro-chemicals. Their plant-based pest control functions without poisons, and without killing, making EarthKind® the first pesticide manufacturer with USDA certified bio-based repellents. EarthKind® is the first and only plant-based pest control company to have its product meet Federal EPA’s gold standard for safety and effectiveness, with no known risks when used as directed.

EarthKind® has a 98% carbon-free footprint, certified by the USDA Bio-Preferred Program, achieved through Just-In-Time (JIT) Manufacturing, reducing Work-in-Progress (WIP) and changeovers, and minimizing defects in the manufacturing process. By using reusable and recyclable shipping containers for their raw materials, EarthKind® leaves almost nothing in the landfill, with all ingredients sustainably sourced from American family farms.
